Debbie was born in upstate South Carolina, and grew up in a fishing family. She is a full time guide at Davidson River Outfitters in Brevard NC, where she guides for trout and smallmouth. She is one of the founders of Pisgah Area Women's Fly Fishing, and is a Regal Pro Staff member. During the off-season, Debbie hosts weekly tying nights and teaches a variety of classes at the fly shop. When not guiding or teaching, Debbie likes to chase Muskies and ride mountain bikes in the hills of Western NC.
