Bio

My parents still shake their heads with reluctant approval that I am putting two undergraduate degrees and one masters degree to use as a fly fishing and upland bird hunting guide at Ruby Springs Lodge, located in Alder, MT in the Ruby Valley.

I moved to Montana in the late 90's and have been working on the rivers ever since. I have worked as a whitewater guide, a fly fishing/whitewater specialist in Patagonian Chile, and have been spending my time at Ruby Springs Lodge since 2015 harassing trout and helping my clients shoot birds with my french pointer, Raya.

When I am not in the Ruby valley fishing or hunting, you will find me chasing Permit, skiing in the backcountry, or trying to convince myself that I can still race mountain bikes.

Life is good.
