I have been fishing the waters of Biscayne Bay, the Florida Keys, and the Everglades since 1995 and pushing my own skiff in these waters since 2001. As a fishing guide, I specialize in sight fishing for bonefish, tarpon, permit, redfish, and tarpon; guiding out of a Maverick Mirage HPX-V flats skiff. I currently call Islamorada my home base of operations. I am also an avid fly tier, photographer, and outdoor writer having published works in both fly fishing print and digital outlets over the years. I have been very fortunate to have grown up fishing with some great mentors as I am constantly analyzing what makes them successful and how I can apply this to my fishing. The search for the best technology has always been a big part of my pursuit to become a better fisherman and seeking the best fly rods for the job is absolutely vital.
