Craig Rist has been fly fishing and fly tying for trout and many salt water species in Australia and around the world since 1986. His passion for fly fishing in both fresh and salt water has never wavered and he is always seeking out new innovative flies, techniques and challenging species to catch on fly.

Craig has been featured in a number of Fly fishing DVD's and is grateful to have become a regular contributor to Australia's premier fly fishing publication, FlyLife Magazine .

You will find him hiking into the rugged Western Lakes of Tasmania sight fishing to wild Brown Trout or finding any excuse to stretch out a fly line on his favourite target species in Australia and beyond.

Some of the most memorable have been Roosterfish from the beaches of the Baja Mexico, Giant Tarpon in Florida, Permit in both Australia and Mexico, Silver Salmon in Alaska, Brown trout in Iceland, Rainbow Trout in Lago Strobel, Sailfish and Mako shark in Australia.
