Bio

Bobby resides in Whittier, NC with his wife Cara. Since a young age Bobby has fished. He grew up in Central North Carolina fishing the farm ponds and lakes close to home. He would often venture to Holden Beach, NC to spend time fishing with his uncle and aunt. In his mid- twenties, Bobby tried fly fishing for the first time, and somehow became consumed with the sport (you all know what I’m talking about). He has now traveled all over the Southeast fly fishing, and has made several trips to Florida and Belize for salt water species. He has since been a guide in Western North Carolina and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, guiding for trout and smallmouth bass. In the summer of 2014 at the young and crazy age of 34, Bobby and longtime friend and fellow guide Dale Collins opened Tuckaseegee Fly Shop in Bryson City, NC. Their commitment was to provide a great customer experience, quality gear, and exceptional guide services. Bobby loves having the outdoors as an office, and loves showing people the experience of landing their first trout or smallmouth on the fly.
