Bio
Captain Adam has had a fly rod in his little freckled hand from age 11, and has been many places, putting himself up against some great fish, and some weak ones. Adam has been guiding professionally since 1999. During that time he has amassed a great deal of knowledge and skill from his life on the water, as well as the friends he has shared that time on the water with.Adam’s life has revolved around fly fishing and fly-tying from an early age. He was winning competitive fly-tying competitions by age 12. His passion was further fueled while working at Eledredge Brothers fly shop in southern Maine - where he grew up on the water. The wind and tides carried him across the country to Northern California where he fished for wild west coast Steelhead and graduated from Humboldt State University.
Adam has been bouncing back and forth between the Florida Keys in the winter to western Montana where he spends his time on the remote Smith River, as well as many other Montana rivers during the summer. He has fished and lived in Belize and Baja Mexico, as well as traveled to Guatemala, British Colombia, the Virgin Islands, Bahamas, north-eastern, and Canada to fish. His passion and intesity remains the same today. Today he finds his insperation from the saltwater flats of the florida Keys were he paints, tie's, guides, and fishes his butt off.
