Bio
"I have been working in the industry since I was 19 and I am currently the Sales Manager for Airflo North America and Dyna-King Vises in Montrose Colorado. What started as working in fly shops and guiding for trout in the state of Colorado led me to the Pacific Northwest when I moved to Seattle in 2014. I managed the Avid Angler in Seattle for years and while out there I became a certified casting instructor through Fly Fishers International and spent my time teaching, hosting travel trips, hosting events, managing the shop, and guiding. My journey led me to explore the waters of western Washington to find some of what was soon to become my favorite water to fish as well as becoming proficient in two handed spey casting. The Olympic Peninsula and the Skagit systems are a couple fisheries to mention.
In 2020, I moved back to Colorado and soon after got on board working for Mayfly Outdoors in Montrose. These days, you can find me at the factory staying busy or on the local rivers on the western slope fishing. I am constantly pursuing new places, new fish, and new ideas, and new flies to tie. When I am not on the water, I am inevitably working hard at the vise, trying new patterns and coming up with innovative ideas. Over the years, I have had the privilege of fishing the waters of Colorado, Minnesota, Louisiana, Idaho, Florida, Montana, Wyoming, Washington, and British Columbia.
Representing Scott Rods is something I am very proud of. Their legacy, reputation, and strive for excellence are values that I carry within all my work and I will always support such a fantastic company. It is easy to see why they really do make the finest fly rods on earth."
