Trent Tatum found his passion for fly fishing while growing up on the gulf coast of Texas and Louisiana. Trent moved on to Wyoming to pursue some of the greatest trout fishing in the world and complete his degree in Fisheries Biology at the University of Wyoming.
During his slightly longer tenure as a full time student Trent guided at the North Platte Lodge in Alcova, Wyoming. Taking his knowledge of the area and love for the sport, Trent is now co-owner of the North Platte Lodge and The Reef Fly Shop.
As a certified fly casting instructor he has shared his knowledge and love of the sport with many anglers.
He also has the opportunity to test himself daily on the North Platte River, located just 150 yards from his front door.
Living in the middle of Wyoming has given Trent the opportunity to fish a number of fisheries throughout Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, and Colorado. But Trent always goes back to his salt water roots making annual trips to the GulfCoast and the Bahamas
