"If you look up 'Spey Nut' in the dictionary, you are likely to find Way Yin's picture. Way has been an ardent advocate of Spey casting and fishing with both two-handed and single-handed rods.

He is a popular fly-casting instructor and demonstrator. He is a FFF Master Instructor and Two-Handed Casting Instructor, and was the first American to be certified as a Master Casting Instructor (in both Trout and Salmon disciplines) by the Association of Advanced Game Angling Professionals (AAPGAI) in the UK.

He supports local and national charities and conservation efforts through his clinics, casting lessons, and proceeds from the acclaimed instructional DVD “Spey to Z”, and is the co-founder of Discover Courage, a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to Special Operations Forces members affected by PTSD. He frequently teaches clinics in conjunction with local and regional Scott dealers.
